At Frunka, we treat your data like we treat your groceries: with care, respect, and zero mess. We only collect the information we need to get your favorite staples to your doorstep.​

What Data Does Frunka Collect?​

To make our “Bus Route” delivery work for you, we collect the following:

Account Details: Your name, email, phone number, password, and delivery address.

Order & Delivery Info: Your searches on our website, items ordered, amount paid, the time you ordered, and your chosen delivery slots.

Communication & Feedback: Any feedback you share, including photos you send us and messages sent via email, WhatsApp, or social media.

Advertising Data: Information on which Frunka ads or links led you to our website or app, helping us understand how to reach more neighbors.

How We Use Your Data​

We use this information to:

Plan the most efficient delivery routes to keep your delivery free.

Send you essential updates via website or WhatsApp (like “Your delivery is one its way!”).

Improve our stock so your favorite staples are always available.

Process your payments securely through our partners, Revolut. (Note: Frunka does not store your credit card details on our own servers).

Our "No-Nonsense" Rule​

We don’t sell your data: We will never sell your phone number or email to third-party advertisers.

No Spam: We only send you messages about your orders or major route updates in your area. If you want to stop receiving updates, just let us know.

Third-Party Partners​

To run a smart “Bus Route” in 2026, we use a few trusted tools:

Logistics Tech: To plan the most efficient (and greenest) route to your street.

Communication: WhatsApp (Meta) for our chat-based ordering and updates.

Analytics: We look at anonymous data (like “Which neighborhood loves Basmati rice the most?”) to help us stock the right products in the right places.

You’re in Control​

It’s your data. At any time, you can ask us to:

See exactly what information we have about you.

Update your delivery address or contact info.

“Forget” you: If you want to delete your account and data entirely, just send a WhatsApp or email to info@frunka.com, and we’ll wipe the slate clean.

Data Retention (How long we keep it)​

We don’t believe in hoarding data. We clear out our records according to this schedule:

Completed Orders: Kept for 3 months to help you easily re-order your favorites.

Refunded Orders: Kept for 6 months for accounting and verification.

Inactive Accounts: If you haven’t visited us in 6 months, we’ll retire your account data.

Pending, Failed, or Cancelled Orders: These are cleared out after 7 days.

Note: Statutory transactional records (for Irish Tax/Revenue purposes) are maintained securely in our backend as required by law.

Changes to this Privacy

From time to time, we may need to amend this privacy statement to reflect changes in our service or the law. If we make any substantive changes to how we process your personal data, for example, if we collect new types of data or use it for new purposes, we will inform you first. The date of the most recent amendment is always indicated at the top of this pag
